Friday Program - details & tuition

Friday program 1st and 2nd Semesters

9:00- 10:30 Contemporary Dance with Diola Chuckberi

Diola’s classes are based on modern dance and Release: body toning dance which focuses on using your center and on movement in space which develops into dance.

Diola is a graduate of the dance academy in Budapest, Hungary under the management of Tivor Eichner and Kotlin Hagri. He studied modern dance under the instruction of Andrea Ludani.

He was a professional ballet dancer for two years. Danced with the Katchkamit dance ensemble, Hungary. Founded the LA Dance Company with Andrea Ludani. He has been dancing with “Combina” dance ensemble since his arrival in Israel two years ago. He currently dances with Nimrod Freed and Shlomit Fondaminski.

10:30- 12:00 Contemporary Dance with Avigail Rubin

Avigail’s dance classes will focus on working with the body through awareness, harmony and coordination. The work integrates between floor work as well as standing exercises, and is done through the center while developing its connection with the rest of the body. This method of work creates the ability for movement within space at different heights while developing movement and creating phrases. The work is based on Release and Hawkins techniques.

Avigail graduated from The Performing Arts Graduate School in Amsterdam in the choreography department. She has a B.A. Dance degree.

Avigail danced with the Ido Tadmor Dance Company and with the Rolex G. Company in Amsterdam. She is currently working as a freelance creator. Among her works which were preformed in Israel are: “Solo- Default” and “In 4 moves”.

Avigail is the winner of the Sharet Award in education, 2004, for a “rising creator”.
