The Group in Jaffa

An independent school for contemporary dance, inviting both inexperienced and experienced students.
The studies focus on contemporary technique, classical technique, improvisation, contact improvisation and yoga.

The Full Dance Program

A program for anyone who wants to make dance and movement a major part of their life, and begin an intensive and continuous process of dance studies and body work.

School students are awarded with a student card from the Israeli student union.
Contact and improvisation jam sessions take place the first Saturday evening of every month.
“The Group in Jaffa” school is located on 109 Kedem St. Jaffa, inside the Arabic- Jewish Community Center, next to 142 Yefet St.
Public transportation: Dan - 10,46,41, Egged- 83, 88 (descend at Yefet St. 142).
Among “The Group in Jaffa” guests artists were: Imanuel Gariba (France), Nigel Charnok (England), Steve Bats (Ireland), Karl Frost (Canada).
Participating in all school programs require medical certificate approval.
Admission fee is 300 NIS to all school programs.
